Who I Am
I'm Mazi Tabatabai, a personal trainer, indoor cycling instructor, and YouTube creator based in Benicia and Vallejo, California. I work with real people who want to get stronger, lose some weight, and learn how to exercise the right way.
I got into fitness in my early 20s. After gaining weight in college, I started making changes to my routine and diet, and the results pulled me in. Watching how small, consistent shifts could add up to real transformation hooked me on the process. To this day, what energizes me most is seeing those same shifts in the people I work with, helping them find the small adjustments that compound into lasting change.
My Philosophy
Training should be a positive addition to your life, not something that consumes it.
I don't believe in the all-or-nothing approach. It works for some, but most people are juggling work, family, and a hundred other responsibilities. They benefit way more from a practical approach that emphasizes incremental change over time. My go-to is resistance training paired with cardio, alongside a diet that supports being lean. But more than any specific method, I believe whatever you do has to fit into your actual life. That's the only way it lasts.
Why YouTube
I started the channel because I saw a gap. Most fitness content out there is built for people trying to maximize muscle growth, like bodybuilders, gym girls, and hardcore lifters. But in my actual work as a trainer, that's not what most people are after. They want to be lean, fit, and feel good. So I started making the kind of content I wished existed.
My goal with every video is the same: make it educational, make it fun, and send people away feeling like they learned something, enjoyed the process, and got a little dose of motivation. That balance is hard to hit, but when it lands, it makes the lessons stick. That's what I'm building toward.
